Valentine’s Love Coupons
VALENTINE’S LOVE COUPONS
Valentine’s Day is often thought of as a holiday where you must get that special someone obscenely expensive gifts. Gold necklaces, Diamond Rings, New cars, 5 star dinners and lavish gifts of that nature are splendid. But I believe the Beatles once sang, “Money can’t buy me love.”
The best Valentine gifts for me have always been something that someone has made for me.
Last year my boyfriend made me “Love Coupons,” Perhaps the cheapest gift financially anyone could give for Valentine’s Day and mean the most.
My boyfriend gave me a sweet valentine’s day card with a poem, and attached were a small stack of love coupons. I was skeptical at first, but they were really cute.
There were 5 love coupons redeemable from him, Here is what my Valentine’s Love Coupons were good for.
1. BACK MASSAGE: What girl doesn’t love a good back massage? I redeemed this coupon after work one night, put me right to sleep. And as an added bonus he gave the coupon back to me and said I could use it again!
2. RELAX TONIGHT, I’LL COOK DINNER: This Valentine’s Coupon would give me a guaranteed night to lay back and let him cook us dinner.
3. MOVIE NIGHT: If I slipped him this Valentine’s day coupon it meant that I wanted some time alone with him to watch a movie! Cuddle time isn’t just for Valentine’s day.
4. BED and BREAKFAST: I forked over this coupon and wouldn’t you know it the next morning I woke up to a a gorgeous breakfast with orange juice in bed. Guaranteed good day after that.
5. WALK IN THE PARK: Silly, I thought, at first… But I cashed this one in and he brought me to this park with a pond. It was nice walking around and peering into the water with him. He ever pushed me on the swings.
Love coupons were an amazing Valentine’s gift, and I would shed no tears if this returned next year (or for other holidays). The perfect idea for a couple tight on cash and overfilling with love. And you can come up with your own coupon ideas!
I love the idea of “Love Coupons” to add into your gift at Valentines Day or to give anytime to say “I Love You”

Thank you for this great idea! I’ve been sweating what to get my wife that wouldn’t cost a lot of money and this is the perfect solution. Like a lot of Americans our income has dropped in the last couple of years so we are always looking for ways to save money without giving up all the little nice things.
